Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel a trial or a subscription to Detectio, operated by , when the cancellation takes effect, and what happens after you cancel.

This page supplements our Terms of Service. Where this page and the Terms describe the same subject, the Terms prevail.

1. You can cancel at any time

There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. You may cancel a trial or a subscription at any time, for any reason, without giving a reason.

The only thing that matters is when you cancel, because cancelling stops future charges rather than reversing charges that have already been made. See section 4.

2. How to cancel

The way you cancel depends on where you subscribed.

2.1 Subscriptions purchased on this website

If you started your trial or subscription through the checkout on this website, you can cancel it yourself, at any time, from your Account Settings on this website. You do not have to contact us and you do not have to give a reason.

• Sign in to your account with the email address you used at checkout.
• Open Account Settings from the menu.
• Find your subscription under Subscription and click Cancel subscription.
• Confirm when you are asked to. The page then shows that the subscription is cancelled.

Cancelling this way takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep access until then and are not charged again.

You can also manage your billing details and see your invoices from the same page.

2.2 Cancelling by email

If you prefer, or if you cannot access your account for any reason, email support@detectioapp.com from the email address you used at checkout and ask us to cancel. Your email address is enough for us to find the subscription — you do not need an order number.

We confirm every cancellation by email. If you do not receive a confirmation, your subscription has not been cancelled — please contact us again.

2.3 Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store

If you subscribed inside the app through Apple, we cannot cancel the subscription for you — Apple controls it. Cancel it in your Apple account settings:

• Open the Settings app on your device.
• Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
• Select Detectio.
• Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Apple's own cancellation, billing, and refund terms apply to those purchases.

2.4 Deleting the app is not a cancellation

Removing Detectio from your device does not cancel a subscription and does not stop billing. You must cancel through one of the methods above.

3. Cancelling a free trial

A trial converts into a paid, automatically renewing subscription unless you cancel it before the trial period ends. The exact trial length and the price that applies afterwards are shown to you at checkout, before you confirm.

To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial period ends. If you cancel during the trial, no subscription charge is made and you keep access for the remainder of the trial.

If the trial has already converted, the charge has been made and cancelling stops the next renewal rather than reversing that charge. Refunds are covered in section 5.

4. When cancellation takes effect

Cancellation applies to future billing periods. It is not retroactive.

• Your subscription stops renewing. You will not be charged again after the cancellation is processed.
• You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not cut off access on the day you cancel.
• Partial periods are not pro-rated. Cancelling in the middle of a paid period does not create a partial refund for the unused days, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

5. Cancellation and refunds are different things

Cancelling prevents future charges. It does not automatically refund a charge that has already been taken.

Refund requests for App Store purchases must be submitted to Apple and are handled under Apple's refund policies.

For purchases made on this website, contact support@detectioapp.com and describe what happened. We review refund requests individually and honour the refund rights granted to you by applicable law, including any statutory right of withdrawal available to consumers in your country.

6. Cancellation by us

We may cancel or suspend a subscription if a payment fails and cannot be collected, if the subscription is used in breach of our Terms of Service, or if we discontinue the service. Where we discontinue the service, we will not charge you for periods that we no longer provide.
